@SheldonYoko so like, i wanna get my people to chat to yours, but their whatsapps don't go through?
The Dead Red Mafia Tour
It’s been a while since I’ve been truly excited about a gig.
Red Huxley’s return to the stage is something I’ve been waiting for for a while though…
Throw in some Woodstock Mafia, recent #TuesOnFire ripper Josh Roxton and Joburg rockers Dead Alphabet and how the hell am I (or you) going to resist?
Zula Bar plays host to the event this Friday evening and tickets are going for R30 before 10pm and R40 after.
Now because I’m nice – and because the fabulous bands on this line-up have decided that they want to make this worth your while – I have a little Dead Red Mafia Hamper to giveaway which includes the following:
2 x Tickets to Zula
1 x Woodstock Mafia EP
1 x Dead Alphabet EP
1 x Pair of Mens Lee Jeans
Now if this sexy hamper, all you have to do is leave a comment below and tell me which act you’re most looking forward to seeing and why. The more creative the better because you know how I lurrrve that shit. EASY.
Winner will be notified tomorrow via email.
AAAND GO.

DEAD ALPHABEEEEEEET. Because I’ve been waiting for them to come down to Cape Town forever and because I’ve still never won a competition on Texx And The City. PLEEEEEEEEEASE.
Woodstock Mafia. I love these guys and they always put on an amazing show. Plus I want to have Joe’s babies and I’m not getting any younger… just saying
woodstock mafia
because i cannot get the chorus.for electric light out of my head…need to see it live.
Red Huxley! (They’re awesome! And have such a conifdently raw sound for their age) So I can offer to style the lead singer’s luscious locks pre- show, and then drunkenly corner them post performance (again…!) to tell them how much they rock! In reality though I won’t be cornering any band members (again…!) cos that’s just not cool! But the free pair of mens jeans in the hamper could be handy! if you see a drunk woman trying to pick up men by offering them items of designer clothing – that’s me… and I won the hamper! ;P
Woodstock Mafia! Super amped to see these guys after seeing them rip it up at Brass Bell a few weeks ago… EPIC EPIC band! Loving their Electric Light single!
Dead Alphabet, because they are, in my opinion, the best band in South Africa at the moment. The only downside to Oppikoppi was that they weren’t there!
Red Huxley – my boyfriend has been raving about them since we met, and now, finally, 10 months later, I get to see them perform.
