And at the end of the day data and download costs and my trawling for vinyls leave a severe scar on my wallet.

I don’t really rock CDs anymore, the only reason I own them is because record and PR companies send me them.

They very quickly start becoming dust collectors anyway.

Now I was recently sent an invitation to join a site called Simfy Africa. They’re a website that streams music – both international AND local. You can only imagine how ecstatic I was when I heard that. So naturally, I joined and honestly, I haven’t opened my iTunes once for the last two weeks.

R60 a month gives you access to 18 million tracks. That fact alone sold me.
