Last month lauded singer-songwriter Ryan Adams was the musical guest on The Jimmy Fallon show where he performed his new track “My Wrecking Ball” in The Tonight Show music room.
His performance in the music room was simple and poignant, featuring Adams on acoustic guitar accompanied by a man on piano. The ballad details a somewhat sombre protagonist’s call for his unnamed “wrecking ball” to come back to him and knock him down one last time.
“My Wrecking Ball” is track 5 out of the 11 that make up his 14th self-titled studio album. For many diehard fans, the three-year-long wait for Adams’ new album has been a tedious one but luckily, the wait is over. As of today you can pre-stream Adams’ album below before its official release.
