Desmond and the Tutus Release ‘Boogieman’ Faze Action Remix

UK electronic brothers team up with Desmond and the Tutus to fashion a new sound for an original banger.

Just when we thought we couldn’t boogie any harder to Desmond and the Tutus’ ‘Boogieman’, Simon and Robin Lee from UK electronic duo, Faze Action, have taken the number and added their own creative feel to it.

Fueled by the already funky elements of the original and with an upbeat introduction, it’s convincing and catchy from the get-go. It only expands from there, incorporating and highlighting the groovy bass line and electric rhythm.

The video component of the remix uses the original footage as the foundation, which sees the band captured by a collection of monsters and forced to perform in an underground den. Remixed by Jordan Koen, the spooky factor is emphasized by splitting and morphing the shots of the lair. With a focus on drumming mummies, bopping pot-plants and boogying ghouls, it is a delightful kaleidoscope of creepiness.

If this is an indication of what we can expect from Desmond and Tutus’ new remix album ‘Enjoy Yourself (The Remixes),’ enjoying ourselves is not going to be a difficult task at all. Watch the video below.
