Multi-platinum selling Australian duo Angus & Julia Stone announce their first tour to South Africa with dates in Cape Town, Johannesburg and Durban at the end of January 2018. Tickets go on sale at 9am on Thursday 30 November and all info at http://parklifefestival.co.za and http://www.wearelive.events/

Cape Town fans will be the first to see Angus & Julia Stone live in the beautiful Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens on Thursday 25 January.

Thereafter Jo’burg will look forward to their favourite Gourmet Food And Music Festival hosting Angus & Julia Stone at the 7th annual Parklife Festival at Marks Park in Emmarentia on Saturday 27 January.

Concluding the tour with a performance set in the oldest surviving botanic garden on the African continent, Angus & Julia Stone will take to the stage in Durban for the 2nd annual Parklife Festival at the Durban Botanic Gardens on Sunday 28 January. Parklife Festival returns to Durban following the success of the inaugural event drawing thousands of Durbanites to the Gourmet Food And Music Festival in June of this year.

Alice Phoebe Lou is also the first of many SA acts to be announced for the Parklife Festival line-up and makes her debut at Parklife in Johannesburg and Durban in January.

Angus & Julia Stone recently revealed the exquisite road trip music video for their latest single, ‘CHATEAU’, which can be viewed below.

The narrative for the ‘CHATEAU’ music video is played out by leading Australian actors Courtney Eaton, who starred most recently in Mad Max Fury Road, and Dacre Montgomery, who featured in Power Rangers and is the new lead in Stranger Things season 2.

“It’s exciting to share new music with people for sure… but to be honest, it’s not why I got into writing music,” says Angus. “For me it’s always just been an expression… but it’s a great feeling if people are digging it”
