It's the start of a new chapter for the rock band ahead of their first album in 6 years.

CrashCarBurn launched their album pre-order last week by dropping a new single and video for their power-chorus-driven single ‘Summer Forever’.

Shot and directed by drummer Bugsy Barnes it follows Glen Biderman-Pam (who plays the scene-stealing Rael in ‘Tali’s Wedding Diary’) as he gets ready for a day out with his best doggo friend. And when a slimey lifeguard tries to ruin their vibe, the ultimate backup is summoned.

You’d be forgiven for thinking that ‘Summer Forever’ is about their lead singer and guitarist Garth Barnes who doesn’t seem to age. Instead, it’s about turning a corner which is what CrashCarBurn appear to have done with this single. “The song is about making a decision that will permanently change your life for the better,” explains Barnes. “We’ve grown over the last six years and so has our sound. ‘Summer Forever’ is a track that will ease fans into an album that they might not be expecting!”

It’s been six years since the rockers released anything but “Headlights” will drop on the 6th of April. Until then, check out the video below.
