On Saturday, August 4th, the Fourth Annual Woodstock Winter Beer Festival (WWBF) will take place at the Castle of Good Hope in Cape Town.
Since its inception in 2015 at the parking garage of Mason’s Press, the festival continues to gain popularity among both beer enthusiasts and folks looking for a unique afternoon of entertainment on a winter’s day in Cape Town.
This year’s venue at the Castle of Good Hope provides an iconic and central location for patrons to enjoy and we have the following prize package to giveaway to one lucky person:
- 2 x Tickets to Woodstock Winter Beer Festival
- 2 x Drifter Breweries beanies
- 2 x Drinks at Drifter Breweries stand
All you have to do is drop a comment at the bottom of this post and use “Texx and the City” and “Craft Beer” in a sentence together, the more creative the better. Winner will be contacted via email on Wednesday the 1st of August.
Aside from the beer, there will be food pods, music and games. Organizers are also collecting donations for the festival’s charity partner NOAH (Neighborhood Old Age Homes). Based in the heart of Woodstock, this organization provides independent services and advocacy to pensioners living in the area. You can make a monetary donation when you buy your ticket or bring the following to the festival to donate:
- Non-perishable food (canned goods, oil, beans, rice)
- Clothes or shoes that are in good condition for them to sell in their second-hand shop
- Blankets, jackets and items for the winter season
