The Steezies release ‘Umngani’ video

A groovy single that expertly captures the essence of this eight-piece band.

The Steezies latest performance-based video for ‘Umngani’ radiates positive energy.

“Don’t stress/You got it” are the opening words from lead guitarist George Kirkinis before he breaks out into a reassuring smile, immediately laying the foundation for the eight-piece to explore themes revolving around friendship and support, understanding and empathy.

From the first few frames, their performances conveys a sense of candor, creating a space that feels as though it’s open to anyone, a space where you can be yourself without fear of judgement

With this aforementioned energy palpable and radiating, it adds another level of comfort and kinship while they deliver lines like, “When the world gets a little fucked up/You know I got you bra” and “You can stand here/Right here with me/With me by your side”, all while their infectious, get-out-of-your-seat-and-dance instrumental lends a cheekiness to the song’s sentimentality.
