Cape Tonians are spoilt for choice again this Saturday, as the city boasts the cream of local musical talent. My new favourites Two Minute Puzzle are set to launch their EP and music video at Maremoto on Long Str.

They’ve also gone the extra extra mile and roped in an impressive set of guest artists including buddy Jeremy Loops, Inge Beckmann and folksy blues outfit Machineri.

Then at Mercury, Captain Stu, La Vi and like knives are set to tear up the Zonnebloem area with one of the most interesting lineups I’ve seen in ages. And as if that wasn’t enough on the gig front…

Tumi & the Volume get their freak on this Saturday at Assembly. R40 gets you in. Double that amount will get you pissed, depending on your alcohol tolerance. But it’s worth every cent to have Tumi & the Volume make sweet musical love to your soul.

And when all is said and done, my home girl DJ Sideshow will make sure you stay rhythmically satisfied for the rest of the night. Okay I need to stop before this post turns into a porno…

And because I love you, I leave you with this little treat.

Happy Youth Day.
