Howard and Guy Lawerence (19 and 22 respectively) have had one hell of a ride since the release of their debut album “Settle” garnered some shockingly strong reviews in mid 2013, and while it’s a little tough to adequately describe their music I like to call it pop with a house sensibility.
“Settle” went on to be nominated for a Grammy for Best Electronica Album and peak at #1 on the UK Album Chart, a huge feat for the youngsters who started to make music for the simple aim of having their tunes played on Boiler Room. Last week they released a remix of Pharrell’s & Jay Z’s 2003 smash hit Frontin’, on their soundcloud with this message:
Little re-work we did of one of our favourite songs ever… Might give this one away for free when we reach 1m likes on facebook… We shall see 😉 ENJOY!
Naturally I went to like them on Facebook, their remix is just that good. Judge for yourself below.
