The Jameson Vic Falls Carnival will once again ignite one of the Seven Wonders of the World for a once-in-a-lifetime New Years’ experience from 29 – 31 December 2016. Not only is the setting spectacular, the adventure never-ending and the crowd a welcoming mix of local and international music-lovers, the line-up always boasts the best talent from throughout Africa.
The Phase 1 artists do not disappoint and are sure to make your New Year’s under a blanket of African stars totally unforgettable. Taking to the mainstage is LCNVL (Locnville), a multi-award winning and best-selling electronic hip hop duo consisting of twin brothers, whose tracks ‘Yesterday’, ‘Sun in my pocket’ and ‘Closer’ have dominated the airwaves making them a household name.
Having recently signed to Sony America and with his smash-hit ‘Take me back to the beach’ about to be released globally Sketchy Bongo is the perfect act to help you ring in the New Year! The KwaZulu-Natal-born producer, has worked with AKA, Da LES, Danny K, Jimmy Nevis and Aewon Wolf and he knows how to create that perfect summer sound!
If you’re not familiar with The Kiffness then you’ve obviously been hiding under a rock. These tongue-in-cheek playful guys have the best sense of humour in the business and know how to create a killer track that’s no joke. Their live performance is a mix of jazzy, groovy & uplifting house music – making them one of South Africa’s favourite live electronic acts.
