Trevor Noah’s award-winning autobiography “Born a Crime: Stories from a South African Childhood” will soon be coming to a big screen near you and will have a very familiar face attached to the project.
Oscar-winning actress Lupita Nyong’o announced that she will produce and star in a film adaptation, which doesn’t have a director attached to it yet, alongside Noah’s production company.
Noah’s mom Patricia was a formative and steadfast figure in his life and survived being shot in the head by his stepfather in 2009. Do you smell another Oscar? Lets keep a close eye on this one, shall we?
When I read @Trevornoah‘s “Born A Crime,” I could not put the book down. Excited to announce that I will be starring in and producing its feature film adaptation! #BornACrimehttps://t.co/v4AfGe23P5 pic.twitter.com/QvrsETIEAc
