It’s finally official, Spotify is now live in South Africa. If you’re unfamiliar with the streaming service and how it works, Spotify has two options available locally for you to sign up for.
The first one is FREE, which costs nothing per month and features shuffle play. The second one is PREMIUM which costs R59.99 per month and features no adverts, offline listening, unlimited skips, high-quality audio, shuffle play. A 30-day free trial of Spotify Premium is also available to users.
The service is available on the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and Microsoft Store. It also works on Xbox and PlayStation consoles, TVs, and smart speakers.
Spotify allows you to browse, discover, curate playlists, build your own music collection and share music with friends. With a catalogue of over 35 million songs all available to both free users and subscribers, Spotify comes to South Africa offering the very best in both local and international music.
