Documentary “Avicii: True Stories” to air this Friday

To celebrate the life and career of Avicii, a renowned DJ who took over the world of music with his fantastic catalogue of songs, BBC Brit (DStv channel 120) will be broadcasting a brand new documentary called “Avicii: True Stories”, on Friday the 4th of May at 21:05.

On the 29th of March in 2016, Swedish star Avicii suddenly announced he would quit touring. He was at the top of his career, with fans all over the world. In this documentary the world renowned artist, Tim Bergling, shares his journey for the first time – how he went from his bedroom studio to playing in huge arenas around the world under the stage name Avicii. Since 2013, director Levan Tsikurishvili has followed Tim on shows, behind the scenes, and in his everyday life. This film is a personal portrait of how a world star was born and highlights the incredible career he had around the world.
