“Bemark dit as kuns” – Market it as Art: An artist collaboration initiative by Fokof Lager

Fokof Lager is a brand by artists and they seek to support other artists.  They dreamed up an artist collaboration series they jokingly refer to as “Bemark dit as Kuns” (Market it as Art).

With these projects they aim to receive artist interpretations of Fokof Lager and to experience their brand through other creative eyes. This flashing piece below is the first in this artist collaboration series:

Fokof Lager have also announced the “Snakehead” – a limited edition made specially for Capital Craft Festival 2018.

Once again Fokof Lager will be present at the fantastic 6th Capital Craft Beer Festival held in the Pretoria National Botanical Gardens on 16th June. Last year Fokof Lager partnered with the “gevaarlike” Afrikaans rapper, Jack Parow, and his karate water, Parow Brandy, to form the limited edition Cape Cobra brandy stout.

This year they are paying homage to punk by serving up the SNAKEHEAD.  This name also tips its hat to one of Fokof Lager’s founding fathers and Fokofpolisiekar’s drummer, Jaco Snakehead Venter.

The SNAKEHEAD is Fokof Lager’s take on the British punk trash drink – Snakebite and black. Imagine ice cold Fokof Lager mixed with crisp apple cider and then just a dash of potent blackcurrant syrup… mmm.

Check out the event here.
