There’s a very good reason that The Pixies’ Kirstenbosch show made our Top 10 Events of 2017 – it was quite simply one of the best productions I’ve had the pleasure of attending.
I think it’s also safe to say that Rock On The Lawns has become synonymous with a good jol. So when AMP Events, organisers of ROTL, started dropping hints yesterday across their socials that something big is coming on Thursday, you can be sure that I went back to every band-related conspiracy theory possible to try and sniff this one out.
BUT WHO COULD IT BE?? Maybe Slash Ft. Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators? They did just release a new single, which means a new album and tour is imminent. Remember, AMP Events brought the Kings Of Chaos tour down a few years back, so who knows.
All I know is that Thursday’s so goddam far away and I’m not coping.
