We House Sundays have gathered quite the hype in its consistency to provide a truly comfortable environment that can appeal to even the most rigid.
Walking in, I was greeted with warm smiles and friendly faces and all around me were, what appeared to be, happy people who were all genuinely having a great time. The line-up consisted of co-founders and power-house’s of the circuit, Cassiem Latief and Leighton Moody, as well as deep sea divers, Pierre Johnson and Lawrence Dix – capping off a rather wholesome musical menu.
Everything about the actual jol was sensational, apart from the fact that tickets sell out rather quickly, with no warning, oh and one can quickly forget, that it is infact, Monday the next day. There’s quite a bit to keep you distracted while you’re inside, though
A wide spread of nutritious stalls were operated by Cape Town’s finest – this was the first time in my life that I actually felt good about wasting my money.
All in all, a fantastic experience that I 10/10 would recommend to absolutely any and everyone. Just make sure you purchase your tickets before arriving!
