In the spirit of togetherness Fitch & Leedes has released a Limited Edition pink tonic available exclusively in the Cape Town CBD during the month of February in appreciation of the love and support the LGBTQ+ community has given the brand over the years.
There were a few people who commented on my press drop yesterday asking if a portion of sales from the limited edition can would go to an LGBTQ+ organisation.
When I reached out to Fitch & Leedes a spokesperson for the brand explained, “The objective of our campaign is not sales driven as only a limited number of ‘rainbow’ cans was produced, but rather as a show of support for the LGBTQ+ community.”
“We hope to make a difference by using our brand platform to spread awareness and the message of #LoveisLove to a much wider audience,” they further explained to me and I’m here for it.
There’s so much negativity online and this campaign aims to spread nothing but love, so much so that #FitchLove trended basically the entire day on Twitter yesterday.
So join Fitch & Leedes and share #FitchLove and tag @FitchLeedes on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook.
