Bob Dylan is opening a whiskey distillery in Nashville and we need to go there

Iconic singer-songwriter and author Bob Dylan is set to add whiskey distillery owner to his name next year.

The company that handles Dylan’s Heaven’s Door Spirits announced yesterday that the Heaven’s Door Distillery and Center for the Arts will open in Nashville in the fall of 2020.

Heaven’s Door Spirits will transform the 160-year-old Elm Street Church in Nashville into the new venue which will feature the distillery, a whiskey library, a restaurant and a 360-seat live performance venue.

The announcement came yesterday in conjunction with the 50th anniversary of Dylan’s “Nashville Skyline” album.
