Endless Daze Festival 2019 announce first batch of artists with BCUC making a triumphant return to headline

Endless Daze 2019 takes place from 1 to 3 November at the Silwerstroom Resort up the West Coast and promises to once again deliver a beautifully curated alternative festival experience.

This year’s lineup is another beautifully crafted and diverse selection of local and international talent, continuing the powerful aural delivery that Endless Daze has become synonymous with.

The 2019 iteration of Endless Daze will see the return of Night Beats (US): the band that kicked off Psych Night’s international offering back in 2013 with a legendary tour of South Africa.

Since then, Night Beats have toured the world extensively and released two acclaimed albums Who Sold My Generation (2016) and Myth of a Man (2019) which was produced by Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys. The band plays pure psychedelic R&B music that “spikes the punch and drowns your third eye in sonic waves of colour”.

On the local headliner front, the festival will welcome back one of the most exciting acts to come out of South Africa, and long-time friends of Psych Night, Bantu Continua Uhuru Consciousness (BCUC). This Sowetan-based band recently played Glastonbury Festival and has toured Europe and America, creating a whirlwind with their powerful blend of traditional African rhythm and unifying storytelling skills.

Endless Daze 2019 keeps with the formula of a limited capacity festival (2500 people) to maintain the comfort and quality that contributed to the success of previous years.

The organisers have also enhanced the layout for a better festival experience, including expanded Deluxe Camping options. Endless Daze is also an official partner of The Beach Co-op, so attendees are invited to partake in beach cleaning initiatives in the run up to and during the festival. There will also be various campaigns to encourage carpooling, recycling and reducing the overall waste footprint of the festival.

Tickets will be sold in three phases, with phases one and two available in limited numbers and for a limited time only:

So with all that being said, Psych Night and Vans are thrilled to announce the first round of acts playing this year’s festival:
