Our favourite dream noise duo, Medicine Boy, just launched a crowdfunding campaign for their third album and need your support

Leaving Cape Town and relocating to Berlin on a musician’s salary isn’t the easiest thing in the world to do.

And even though they’re signed to Fuzz Club Records, the costs associated with the making of Medicine Boy’s third album now run in Euros. Ouch.

“We’ve fallen in love with making records. We’ve been able to do this through the support of a wonderful community of music lovers who find some kind of meaning and feeling in what we create. We’ve started writing our third studio album and are asking our listeners to help us fund the recording. In return we’re offering new music we’ve been working on as well as some merchandise created for the fundraiser,” Lucy writes on their newly-launched Indiegogo campaign.

And even though it’s only two days old, their campaign has already raised over R18 000 and counting.
