Event company, Sit The Folk Down, announce details for their new STFD Studios

Sit The Folk Down, the Cape Town-based promoters and event managers are happy to announce that they will be launching their new STFD Studios on the 1 September 2019.

Jon Shaban and Kevin Ramage, owners and founders of Sit The Folk Down, have been longtime champions of the DIY ethic and this new venture is the perfect opportunity to help artists take it to the next level.

“We’re super happy to announce the opening of STFD Studios. It is the next logical step in the development of Sit the Folk Down and a massive opportunity for us to provide a service where we can use world class facilities to work together with artists at creating world class content,” explains co-owner Jon Shaban.

“It’s such an amazing feeling. When the opportunity presented itself a few months back, it definitely felt like the next step forward for us, taking into account everything we’ve done ’til now and our vision for the future,” Kevin Ramage chimes in.

The studio located at 299 Albert Road, Woodstock, will offer services ranging from audio and post-production work to mixing and mastering and everything else audio related.

The guys are still committed to providing a live music platform for established, as well as up-and-coming talent on the scene, now just with the bonus of having a space where artists can produce the required content to help further their careers.
