Our girl Billie Eilish has confirmed that she’s recording the theme for upcoming Bond movie No Time To Die and we are shook. It also makes her the youngest artist in the franchise’s history to do so.
“It feels crazy to be a part of this in every way. To be able to score the theme song to a film that is part of such a legendary series is a huge honour. James Bond is the coolest film franchise ever to exist. I’m still in shock,” Eilish wrote on her Instagram, to which grime rapper Stormzy and supermodel Naomi Campbell both gave her mad props for.
“Writing the theme song for a Bond film is something we’ve been dreaming about doing our entire lives. There is no more iconic pairing of music and cinema than the likes of Goldfinger and Live And Let Die. We feel so so lucky to play a small role in such a legendary franchise, long live 007,” Eilish’s brother Finneas wrote on his Instagram and if we’re being honest, this announcement makes so much sense. Who’s hotter right now than these two?
And with Hans Zimmer confirmed to compose the score for the film, there’s never been more reason to get amped about Daniel Craig’s swansong as 007.
