In case you were already on the beach, we named James Deacon one of our Best Of 2019: Indie Newcomers.
Last year was a busy one for Deacon, dropping a fiery debut EP and striking video for his hit single “Not Givin’ Up”.
We’re not even one month into 2020 and already Deacon is taking names, with his “Son Of Apollo” single being used to soundtrack HBO’s theatrical trailer for November & December 2019. With this feature, Deacon becomes the first SA artist to have a song used on a USA HBO campaign.
Deacon is signed to Bad Future, the little indie record label that could, who have secured their 6th major sync with “Son Of Apollo”.
Eyes peeled on both of these camps.
