Lauv’s new single “Modern Loneliness” is an anthemic comment on how our current society has become more alone together

With the release of his debut album on the horizon, pop whizz-kid Lauv has just dropped an anthemic new single for our technology driven generation titled “Modern Loneliness”.

The power ballad is both a statement and a commentary on our current society, where we are increasingly “alone together” and will feature on his highly anticipated upcoming album, ~how i’m feeling~, set for release on March the 6th.

“This is my favorite song on the album and the most important song I feel I’ve ever made,” Lauv confessed. “There is a lot of loneliness out there. We all feel it. But there is also a lot of love waiting for us and I hope this song can be a catalyst for that.”

With over 5 billion artist streams, Lauv has quietly and steadily become one of pop’s brightest rising stars. He has released his music completely independently – including global hits “I Like Me Better” and “i’m so tired…” – which have been streamed millions of times. He has written for some of the biggest stars in the world, performed on late night talk shows, played stadiums opening for Ed Sheeran, and sold out shows in 21 countries as a headliner.

And he has done all of this without releasing an album.

But while we patiently wait for March the 6th, enjoy “Modern Loneliness” below.
