We’re barely two months into 2020 and already our gurl Billie has already made Grammy history, performed during a poignant tribute at the Oscars and released a self-directed video for a song that’s an ode to her best friend and collaborator – her brother Finneas.
But in what’s sure to be a career high milestone for the alternative pop star, today Billie releases the theme song from the upcoming James Bond film, No Time To Die.
With Finneas on the co-write, the duo flew to London where they recorded the song with Hans Zimmer and an orchestra, and as the youngest artist ever to write and record a Bond theme, Billie will perform the song for the first time at the Brit Awards in London on the 18th of February.
I called it last week and I’ll say it again – don’t be surprised to see her at next year’s Oscars as a nominee and a performer. Now wouldn’t that be something.
