SA’s top live electronic act GoodLuck, have just confirmed a major milestone – they’ll be the first South African act joining international superstars like Chris Martin, John Legend, Hozier, Shawn Mendes, Camila Cabello and more for Global Citizen’s new series, #TogetherAtHome.
#TogetherAtHome is a new series from Global Citizen to support the World Health Organization’s efforts, and to bring us all together to feel less lonely in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“It’s such a privilege to be a voice of hope in these difficult times – I hope our fans around the world are safe and their families are healthy! I can’t wait to share the joy of music with all of you!” exclaimed Juliet Harding from GoodLuck.
The series of global livestreams was created to support the World Health Organisation’s efforts considering the COVID-19 pandemic and bring us all together to feel less lonely as countries around the globe go into lockdown.
Each day a new artist (or several) bring their talents live to social media — they’ll take requests, talk about their process, sing some of their classics, and tell you how you can take action to slow the spread of Coronavirus.
So far, stars like John Legend, Hozier, Shawn Mendes and Camilla Cabello have graced the social media air waves with their talents, and there are many more to come with GoodLuck kicking off SA’s series of artists as the country goes into a 21 day lockdown.
To tune in, head to GoodLuck’s Instagram profile this Friday at 8pm for an electronic escape with their biggest hits right from your couch!
