Redux Underground brings Canadian trio Planet Giza to Joburg in March with the aim to connect like-minded individuals

Redux Underground is described by the founders as a music-based event which serves as a platform for independent artists from all over the world to perform and share their music with a larger audience, and that’s exactly what’s happening over here.

On the 28th of March, Redux makes its debut with a killer line-up that includes Frank Casino, Unclepartytime, willycardiac and Canadian independent music group, Planet Giza.

Founded by Uno Gondo and Chimii, a visual artist and musician based in Jozi, the aim of Redux is guided by the need to create a global creative network across borders, to connect like-minded individuals.

The Canadian trio headlining the event has had some notable success in the last few years, citing collaborations with artists like Mick Jenkins and Kaytranada. If you’re wondering what that sounds like, think smooth beats with a palpable 90’s influence and a laid-back, wind down vibe synonymous with The Internet.

The event takes place at Shine Studios in Johanesburg and tickets can be purchased here.
