Dance your way through lockdown levels with Jaydon Lewis and Paxton’s first single “Good Company”

This teen dream-team joined forces after they had picked up a five-day writing session opportunity at Red Bull Studios in Cape Town. The duo became a trio when they roped in another local artist attending the writing session, Caleb Williams – the final link that turned a 30 minute session into “Good Company”.

Jaydon Lewis and Paxton Fielies subsequently had grand plans for an accompanying music video with all the bells and bows, but that was quickly interrupted when SA’s lockdown took effect.

With those ideas moved to the backburner, the crew decided to switch up the game and pulled out their smartphones for some old school, home-video filming, produced by Oneleggedbeggar and directed by DaniBagel. A super effective twist relevant to what the entire globe is currently experiencing.

Despite it being an all-round upbeat bop, it’s the perfect tune to jam to around the house and even better, you can take your cues from Paxton’s polished moves and lockdown comfy-chic wardrobe options. Oh, and did I mention there’s some 10/10 floof magic happening in the background?

“‘Good Company’ is meant to be uplifting with positive vibes that inspire and empower those to be the best they can be. I know with what’s going on, we need our good company more than ever,” adds Lewis. And it feels just like it.
