Arctic Monkeys’ “Do I Wanna Know” becomes one of only 25 videos to surpass 1 billion views on YouTube

Arctic Monkeys‘ now-iconic video for “Do I Wanna Know?” just surpassed the 1 billion views mark to become one of 25 videos, and less than 12 rock bands, to achieve this feat.

Other videos include Justin Bieber’s “Sorry” (3.29 billion), PSY’s “Gangnam Style” (3.63 billion), and Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars’ “Uptown Funk” (3.85 billion), with the title of most-viewed video belonging to “Despacito” by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee, which has nearly 7 billion.

Released in June 2013, “Do I Wanna Know” was the second single off their fifth album AM, a canonical body of work for almost every fan.
