2Lee Stark teases listeners with the recent release of two more singles “Uyajola” and “Boss” ahead of his debut album

Johannesburg-based hip hop artist 2Lee Stark has been baiting us with top-shelf material since the successful release of his project Whip Test and his most recent music video release for “Ban Ban”.

Finally after 10 plus years in the making, 2Lee has dropped the first two singles off his in-coming debut album, The Complex Album set for release in October.

“Uyajola” and “Boss” hit harder than Iron Man’s uppercut and tells us 2Lee’s The Complex Album is geared to light up the scene. “Uyajola”, sports features from Reason, 2Loux, and Draper over a Tsukudu-produced beat.

Meanwhile, “Boss” is a clean-cut track that sees him back in the studio with longtime producer, Lincoln Long. The “BOSS” music video premiered on Channel O on the same day of its release.

In a live interview with RocketsTV in July, 2Lee Stark divulged that the 14-track album has been a massive collaborative effort between his independent record label, Off Boyz, and Warner Africori.

In Stark’s eyes, this album is a commentary on the intersectionality of his life as a rapper, father, hustler and dreamer, all within the context of life’s trials and tribulations.
