Phil Collins’ “In the Air Tonight” returns to the Billboard Charts 39 years after release thanks to viral video

Phil Collins’ “In the Air Tonight” is officially a hit single again 39 years after its release, returning to the Billboard Charts after a viral reaction video introduced it to a whole new audience.

Twins Tim and Fred Williams, who create reaction videos on YouTube, pretty much broke Twitter after they filmed themselves listening to “In the Air Tonight” for the first time.

Everything’s going quite lekker until that epic drum fill kicks in to introduce a new beat, and the twins react with legitimate shock as they look at one another like, “WHERE DID THAT COME FROM?”

It’s cute AF and super relatable to everyone who’s familiar with this track, which is why their reaction video is now sitting on 4.5 million views.

I’m not sure about you but I’m dying to know what OG Phil Collins thinks about all this.
