Bring Me The Horizon’s new video for track “Teardrops” sees them continuing to push their own creative boundaries

As we count the days until the release of Bring Me The Horizon’s new EP POST HUMAN: SURVIVAL HORROR, the band has blessed us with an anxiety-ridden video for the single “Teardrops”.

Off the back of two searing videos for the spine-tingling “Parasite Eve”, and the unexpected collaboration with Yungblud “Obey”, that have amassed over 115 million audio and video streams combined to date, “Teardrops” will undoubtably walk the same path. It’s that goddam good.

Like the last three music videos before it “Teardrops” was directed by frontman Oli Skyes, who drew heavily from his personal relationship with depression, and channeled it in the representation of him drowning in a giant pool of his own anxiety.

“It is my favourite song off the record. I’m so excited to get this single out, it feels like a classic Bring Me The Horizon tune but without it feeling like anything we’ve done before. I feel like ‘Teardrops’ is some of the best work we’ve ever done, musically and lyrically as whole,” Oli explained when questioned about their new track and video.

The track itself is an amalgamation of everything that makes this band great, driven by a catchy chorus, with a little homage to nu metal alá Linkin Park thrown in for good measure.
