AC/DC return with a new album and single that’s being celebrated in neon style at Joburg’s Ponte Tower

It’s a good day to talk about AC/DC because not only have the iconic rockers returned with their 17th chart-topping album titled Power Up, and a scolding second single and video for “Demon Fire”, but the band’s recognisable logo is being projected onto Johannesburg’s Ponte Tower to celebrate their almost five decade-long career.

Barney Simon was the first person who spotted the projection (of course he was) and was mildly confused as to what was going on, but since then the projection has been seen numerous times against the quintessential tower, and the making of has been captured for your appreciation below.

AC/DC’s latest video for “Demon Fire” is just as interesting as the laser projection above.

Following a car driving down a dimly-lit highway, to hell I’m presuming, we see billboards of the band members flashing by one-by-one, with one scene featuring graffiti that pays tribute to the late, great guitarist Malcolm Young.
