From Izinyoka in the Eastern Cape to Times Square in New York, all eyes were on Ami Faku last night as she performed on renowned US online venue, StageIt, becoming one of only 3 African artists to perform on StageIt.
Ami is also on a billboard in the iconic Times Square in New York this week, as her global footprint continues to grow.
Wrapping up 2020 as part of Time Magazine’s “10 Best Songs of 2020” and featuring on Barack Obama’s Top 20 playlist of the year, Eastern Cape’s South African Voice of Modern Afro-soul is proving that her sound is not limited to the borders of South Africa.
