Billie Eilish talks to British Vogue about her latest transformation and feeling comfortable in her own skin

After the release of “Your Power”, the powerful first single off her upcoming album Happier Than Ever, our gurl Billie is breaking the internet once again on the cover of British Vogue with a gorgeous photoshoot and revealing interview.

Having said before in interviews that the way she dresses was her was driven by a desire to avoid being perceived by the world, Billie is now comfortable in taking control of her own narrative.

“It made me really offended when people were like, ‘Good for her for feeling comfortable in her bigger skin’. Good for me? … The more the internet and the world care about somebody that’s doing something they’re not used to, they put it on such a high pedestal that then it’s even worse,” she told the magazine.

By debuting her new look in this spread, Billie retains agency over her body and the way it’s presented through this striking photoshoot where she channels vintage pin-up girls of the ’40s, ala Marilyn Monroe.

And that’s why we love her, because she makes phenomenal music but she’s smart as fuck too. Read the full interview here.
