Måneskin prove they are rebels with a cause by sharing a kiss at a Polish Festival in solidarity with the LGBTQI+ community

Måneskin has proven that “love is never wrong” at the Polsat SuperHit Festival in Sopot, Poland when Damiano David and Thomas Raggi decided to share a kiss on stage in support of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Even though this is not the first time David has kissed a band member on live TV (throwback to Eurovision), what’s significant about this is that this time it happened in Poland. “Everyone should be able to do this without fear,” David said after the kiss. “Love is never wrong.”

Poland does not recognise LGBTQIA+ rights and more recently Poland cancelled gender equality from the commitments of the European Union.

The band has since shared exactly how they feel about the entire situation on their Instagram.

What’s more rock n’ roll than kissing your bandmate in a country where the LGBTQIA+ community has felt increasingly under threat in recent years?! Also, it’s still Pride month, which is the cherry on top.
