Released to critical acclaim in May this year, newly fledged songstress Kiesha’s debut single “Airplane Mode” is a wishful pop ballad that speaks to issues around relationships in the digital age.
She’s just released a music video for the track, shot alongside a rusty aeroplane in the grasslands of the Walmansthal open air museum. It’s a visual that’s packed with vintage aesthetic, ending with a surreal shot of Kiesha surrounded by hundreds of paper planes that she made herself, each one by hand.
Before breaking onto the scene Kiesha successfully auditioned for the International ARTS Talent program and won herself a scholarship to study at the New York Film Academy in 2022.
She’s packed full of potential, driving every bit of her energy into doing what she loves most, and while this is just the start of what looks to be a budding career in music, Kiesha’s talent could take her anywhere she likes.
