18-year-old Vaughn Prangley has done it again, this time winning second place in the Teen category in the 2022 Unsigned Only Music Competition for his song “Avalanche To The Sea”. This is a remarkable achievement, given there were almost 7000 entries this year from artists in 120 different countries.
This is the second year running Vaughn takes an accolade at the Unsigned Only competition, with his song “Breathing” earning a finalist spot and honourable mention in the 2021 edition.
Vaughn’s debut album Destination Unknown (produced by singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalists and producer Howie Combrink), earned a SAMA Nomination for Best Produced Album Of The Year.
Vaughn also took top honours in the International Songwriting Competition (ISC) for the song “Passing Seconds” out of a staggering 21000 entries.
