Easy Freak’s new single “All I Want” featuring Langa Mavuso is the collab you didn’t know you needed

Whenever Easy Freak release new music you just know it’s going to bring the vibes, and this time around they’ve invited Langa Mavuso along for the ride – together offering up a groovy and nostalgic ballad drawing on charming R&B sounds of the ‘90s.

The track is taken from their latest EP If You Want It, and comes with a warmly rendered music video directed by Avi Mack, with Jared Hinde on cinematography. Unfolding in a house illuminated by a golden afternoon glow, Mavuso sits pensively behind a piano, ready to serenade, while Hurd and Kenrick move through bedrooms and behind curtains, their silhouettes calming allusions to the track’s sentimentality.

The images have the appearance of something shot on film, contrasted with a dramatic visual motif of an eclipse, moving through its various phases of light change. As the track crescendos, the faces of Mavuso, Kenrick and Hurd come together into one frame, mimicking the moon and the sun in a way that perfectly captures the track’s rich spirit of collaboration.

With a natural fusion of pop, funk and soul, Easy Freak are setting the SA music scene alight, and the addition of Langa Mavuso’s crooning vocal talents only makes this track more appealing. Get on it right now, you won’t regret it.
