One thing this world always needs more of is music, and lending a helping hand to those in
need. If you’ve been yearning to do something good, Homies – Where The Heart Is, is the event
for you.
Not only will you be able to bask in the joy of music, but you will also be aiding in raising funds
for the Woodside Special Care Centre to purchase items that they urgently need such as non-
perishable food, clothing, and toiletries. Woodside is a Cape Town-based organisation that tends to the needs of physically and intellectually challenged individuals from all walks of life.
The one-day event will be taking place at 196 Victoria Rd Woodstock and you’ll be able to enjoy artists such as Julian Place, Luh’ra, Face And The Features, Moonga K, The Kwagga, Luc Veermeer and Dirty Disco Records.
Besides helping a good cause and great music, there will also be an incredible selection of
delicious LoveKosMos food and treats on sale, not to mention drinks from Sweet River Brewery
and other traders.
The event takes place this Saturday, 25 March, and will start at 2 pm. Tickets only cost R100 online and will be R150 at the door. Purchase your tickets here. Donations are more than welcome and you
