Taylor Swift is full of surprises on her Eras tour as she switched up her setlist to play “the 1”

Taylor Swift has had Swifties raging about her current Eras tour and in the latest surprise, she switched up the setlist at her latest stop to include “the 1” for the first time.

“You think you can come prepared? You think you can just scroll and know the setlist?” Tay Tay said before performing the song from her album folklore at a show in Arlington, Texas.

Swift had a specified segment of her Eras tour setlist that regularly changed and it was the “surprise song” segment. Here Swift would play different acoustic songs every night of the tour which included songs “Sad Beautiful Tragic” from 2012’s Red and “Ours” from 2010’s Speak Now.

But as always Swift is full of surprises. Watch footage of Swift performing “the 1” below.

In other Eras surprises, not only has Swift been performing a marathon setlist (three-and-a-quarter-hour show) but the stage production has been phenomenal. So far it has included a life-size Lover house, multiple costume changes, a massive catwalk, fireworks, oversized LED video screens and choreographed set pieces synced with each performance.

One iconic moment that still has fans baffled was when she appeared to dive off stage and swim “underwater”. Plus she burned down the Lover house. Watch those epic moments below.
