Mean Girls and Half Price join forces for The Great Punk Migration tour

Hardcore skate punk group, Mean Girls, and legendary satirical ska-punk band, Half Price are heading to Europe this winter to perform at one of the biggest and best punk festivals in the world, Slovenia’s Punk Rock Holiday.

They’re also performing at a bunch of venues in Germany along the way, and decided to kick things off in South Africa in July in order to give themselves a proper send off. This has morphed into a fully fledged DIY “World Tour” which they’ll be selling limited edition tour merch, as well as launching a crowdfunding campaign in the coming weeks for.

I’m a staunch supporter of both these bands (especially Half Price, I’ve seen those dudes tear some stages apart over the years, both with and without clothes on) so to see them make huge international strides like this warms the cockles of my tequila-soaked heart.
