FAME Week Africa has become the go-to event for African creatives, providing them with a platform to bring their ingrained talent, their stories, and their culture to the forefront.
The music programme at FWA is something that we’ve been keen supporters of over the last few years, which is why we’re super excited to announce our partnership with TuneCore to present a panel at this year’s FWA. We’ll be exploring how independent African artists are using digital tools to break into new markets on Wednesday the 4th of September at 11am.
With a vast array of digital tools freely available for musicians to grow their online presence and market their music, it’s never been a more exciting time to be an independent African artist. Our panel will highlight how artists grow their audiences in new markets, while simultaneously marketing their releases.
Moderated by TATC editor Tecla Ciolfi, the panel will host Andile Mbete (Head of TuneCore for Africa), Louise Crouse (Valkie Van Coke PR guru), Jimmy Nevis (R&B-pop singer-songwriter) and Ben Rodrigues (alt-pop singer-songwriter).
Join us for a thought-provoking conversation spearheaded by a panel who are changing the landscape one campaign at a time.
