Måneskin’s frontman, Damiano David, has hinted at an exciting new solo venture with a cryptic
teaser titled “Everywhere.”
David took to Instagram on the 9th of September to share a brief, enigmatic clip that has fans
buzzing with anticipation.
The teaser concludes that details of the full announcement will be released on the 27th of September. Watch it below:
While it’s unclear whether “Everywhere” refers to a new single, album or collaboration, it appears that this project will be a solo effort for David.
David had previously expressed mixed feelings about a solo career. He acknowledged that while it could be both “very healthy and very destructive,” he remains grounded in his roots with Måneskin.
“Everything I did with the band is my foundation,” David said. “If I mess up, they save me; if they mess up, I save them.”
David’s solo project follows recent news that Måneskin bassist Victoria De Angelis has also ventured into solo work, collaborating with Anitta on the debut techno track “GET UP BITCH! (Shake Ya Ass).”
Meanwhile, fans may get more clues on September 11th when David presents at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards at New York’s UBS Arena. This marks his third consecutive year at the VMAs, having made a notable debut in 2022.
