Wren Hinds has shared a delightful full band rendition of his track “Wrenbird,” recorded and filmed at Gorgeous George Hotel in the heart of The Mother City.
Wren and his band’s debut release offers a unique introduction to one of South Africa’s most exciting emerging voices, alongside a sonically intuitive group of musicians, including Jonno Sweetman on drums, Dylan Fine on electric guitar and Maurice Paliaga on bass.
The video unfolds in the beautifully moody, hazy setting of Gorgeous George Hotel, filmed by Josh Hayman. Seeped in rich tones of orange and red, this colour palette is the perfect backdrop to Wren Hinds’ folk sensitivities.
