C2K Dance Crew is a K-Pop dance cover crew based in Cape Town, and their steady following on both TikTok and YouTube is a testament to K-Pop’s growing fanbase in South Africa.
K-Pop is in fact one of the fastest growing genres in the world. Since 2019, it has repeatedly ranked among the top streamed genres on streaming platforms, and the constant wave of new K-Pop artists that are emerging is further proof of K-Pop’s cultural currency right now.

Having launched her career as part of global girl group BLACKPINK, South Korean singer, actress and international style icon, JISOO, has now released her highly anticipated debut mini album AMORTAGE via
Warner Records, including lead single “earthquake” and its accompanying Christian Breslauer directed music video, known for this work with the likes of Doja Cat, SZA and Ariana Grande.
“My album AMORTAGE is finally here! It’s a collection of stories about love – the highs, the lows and everything in between,” says JISOO. “I poured my heart into this project and I’m so excited to share it with you all.”
AMORTAGE is JISOO’s most comprehensive solo work to date, and marks a rebirth of the global superstar. Attracting over 79+ million Instagram followers and generating billions of streams, JISOO made history with her debut single album Me, netting a series of accolades and popping off as the best-selling album by a female solo artist in South Korea, as well as the first to sell over a million copies.
Now adding their own flair to JISOO’s music, C2K will also be releasing a full performance video for “earthquake” this Friday.
