Youngr will be coming to South Africa for a nationwide tour this April with support from GoodLuck, and we absolutely cannot wait.
Youngr will bring his unique blend of live, electronic dance music to Cape Town, Johannesburg and the Underberg, for this year’s edition of Splashy Fen.
Featuring an electrifying mix of live loops, infectious beats and emotionally charged lyrics, Youngr promises a show that’s both intimate and larger-than-life.
“Yoooo! Excited is an understatement!!!” he says. “I can’t wait to come back to South Africa and play some tunes for you all. It’s been a minute but I’m as ready as ever!”
South Africa’s very own electronic music powerhouse, GoodLuck, will co-headline in both Cape Town and Joburg, bringing their infectious beats as a vibey precursor to the main show.
Known for their unique blend of dance music, pop and soul, GoodLuck’s reputation precedes them, and they continue to solidify their place as one of the most successful acts in the SA music scene.
“Dario has been a good friend of ours for a few years now, in fact we are releasing our first collab together this year,” says GoodLuck vocalist and frontwoman Jules Harding.
“This tour is very exciting for us to be a part of,” she continues. “As electronic musicians we both think totally outside the box. We are both on a mission to reimagine dance music in a way that has more feeling, more musicianship and more energy.
