Grammy-nominated breakout star Teddy Swims has today released the final chapter of his debut album I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Complete Edition), out via Warner, and he’s subsequently taking a well-deserved victory lap.
Delivering a definitive and dynamic 32-track album, now featuring six new songs, Swims is an undisputed powerhouse of global R&B and pop.
His talents shine on tracks like “All Gas, No Breaks” — a daring collaboration featuring BigXthaPlug — while “Small Hands” sees Swims get personal about his unborn son, featuring his partner Raiche.
“I cannot thank you all enough for being on this crazy ride with me,” he tells his fans. “These songs have been everything to me, from the advice I didn’t know I needed, to those honest songs I wrote about heartbreak and finding love and myself.”
“Thank you for letting me trauma dump on you while performing on the road, thank you for blasting these songs on your car rides to work, and thank you for just belting them out in the shower. I love you
I love you I love you,” he continues.
Swims is in the middle of an already monumental year. Following his nomination for Best New Artist at this year’s Grammy Awards, he launched a sold-out UK/European arena tour, did a festival sweep through South America, and is currently in the midst of his biggest headlining North American tour yet.
He was also recently nominated for 3 BET Awards, including Best New Artist, Best Collaboration and
Best Male R&B/Pop Artist. And, as if that wasn’t enough, Swims and his band Freak Feely are heading overseas for a run of arena dates in Australia and New Zealand this Fall.
