TikTok for Artists lands in South Africa, giving musicians powerful new tools to track, grow and engage their fanbases. The new all-in-one platform hands creators, labels and teams daily insights on music performance, audience breakdowns and fan engagement. Launched globally earlier this year, TikTok for Artists offers artists, labels and teams daily-updated dashboards packed with insights on how music and content are performing across the app.

The rollout also brings the Pre-Release tool, letting artists hype upcoming drops and drive pre-saves straight to Spotify or Apple Music. “This platform is about putting powerful, transparent data in the hands of creators so they can make smarter decisions and connect with the global TikTok community,” says Toyin Mustapha, TikTok’s Head of Music Partnerships for UK, Ireland and SSA. “This platform is about putting powerful, transparent data in the hands of creators so they can make smarter decisions and connect with the global TikTok community.”
The launch lands as South African tracks dominate the app: Ciza, Jazzworx and Thukuthela’s “Isaka (6am)” has powered over 2 million global video creations, while “Ngishutheni” by Goon Flavour, Master KG and Eemoh has racked up nearly 7 million worldwide.
